WorkCover Queensland has updated its safety information around preventing falls from fixed ladders with cages.
The updated alert comes after investigations into a June 2017 accident where a worker was seriously injured when he fell down a caged ladder and over the guardrail of the landing below. He was carrying tools and fell approximately eight metres.
